height: 31 1/4 inches.
We had a great time celebrating Sam's birthday. He definitely has a sweet tooth and loved having his very own cake!
Sam didn't like the flash of the camera very much and we were taking so many pictures that every time he saw the camera come out he would close his eyes really tight!
He loved opening his gifts...so did Bethany!
His favorite was the lawn mower.

Sam is happy and healthy and we couldn't ask for a better baby. He loves his brothers and sister and is happy in a room as long as he isn't alone.....unless there is toilet paper in the room. He loves to chew on paper. He is not picky, any kind will do!!
Sam loves to roam around the house pulling things out of the kitchen cabinets and drawers. He has found the DVD cupboard and happily pulls them all out. He has now figured out how to open them all. This cupboard is also where I keep all of my weights for exercising and he loves to crawl or walk around with the 2-3lb weights in his hands. Sam is a very strong so we haven't had any broken toes, thank goodness!!!
Sam can walk but sometimes walks on his knees and also loves to crawl backwards as fast as he can until he runs into something and then laughs and laughs. I have no idea why but I love to watch him. He can be pretty silly sometimes.
Words Sam can say: Dad, Mom, Scott, Matthew, that, uh-oh, and Grandpa. He loves to growl at me especially when he sees food he wants. Sam walks around making monkey noises, oh-ah, oh-ah, oh-ah and if you say anything about a dog his eyes light up and starts to say woof! 
Sam loves cars and anything with buttons or electronics. He likes to dance to music of any kind!
YES, VICTORY!! Look Mom, I finally got the remote!
Even though Sam is a VERY busy baby he loves to give hugs and kisses and we love to get them! He is so much fun and has a contagious smile! We absolutely love having him as a part of our family!

there are so many things I love about this post! The first picture with eyes so huge as that cake comes towards him is totally priceless
Of course, Grandpa gives him the remote - there is no question that he absolutely adores spoiling his grandkids.
and he is so cute with those weights. in the first photo he has such a "look" about his that says he belongs to you.
