Scott Got Braces!!

Scott is actually excited to get braces.  He wants his front teeth to be fixed.  After they broke they stuck out a little bit and he has always wanted them to be put back in place.

 

He hates to draw attention to himself.  So I think it is rather funny that a boy who doesn't want to be the center of attention chose green for the color of his braces?

Sunny Sunday

The sun in the northwest is so scarce in the spring time that we went out in the backyard on Sunday to enjoy the warmth that it brought!

Easter 2012

We stuck to traditional Easter activities this year.  First we dyed eggs.

 Sam loves this activity.

Matthew is so careful with each color he chooses. He likes to mix and match.

Timmy loves to try to turn everything into army green.

Bethany likes the "pretty" colors.

 Then we had our egg hunt.

 

This was Ben's first Easter egg hunt so we ended up going in shifts.  

 Little kids first.

 Then the older kids went and cleaned up the rest of the eggs!

Spring Break Activity

We needed a little activity out of the house during spring break so we decided to go to the zoo with some friends.

 The bears were out and on the prowl.

The lions were basking in the sunshine!

 Timmy always loves the petting zoo.
