A couple of weeks after school got out we went on our first camping trip! We went with Grandpa and Grandma Lay and Brent and Amy's family. We had a great time. We all went down on Friday night and ate dinner over the campfire. The boys went exploring and found an ant hill that was almost as tall as Timmy! It was huge and there were so many ants you could actually see the path that the ants had made up to the ant hill! Good thing our tent was on the other side of the forest. I also had a great time teaching my kids and their cousins how to play night games for the first time! Their favorite was kick the can.

The next day we went on a hike by our campground called "The Trail of Ten Falls" In about a 7 mile hike there are 10 waterfalls. It is absolutely beautiful! We only had to go one way too. Since we had so many cars we were able to park at the top and then make our way down the trail to the car parked at the bottom! Which was a good thing because after 7 miles my kids were done! Towards the end Timmy got really tired so my mom was nice enough to take the baby so I could help Timmy. We did relax and take our shoes off after the hike and play in the creek for a while! I had a hard time choosing my favorite waterfall. I really liked Upper North Falls but I also liked the waterfalls you could walk behind. It was a really great trip!
