Christmas Eve was full of great traditions that my kids love. We were sad because Brent and Amy's family was sick with the flu but my friend Shareen Williams, her kids, and Aaron Johnson joined us. First we had our big Christmas dinner. Then the kids dressed up and put on the nativity.

After the program all the kids opened one gift containing pajamas or slippers. Then we sat around the kitchen table, the kids all lit their candles and took turns choosing their favorite Christmas carols to sing.This tradition is always my favorite. I feel like singing the Christmas songs always brings the spirit into the home and I love sending my kids to bed Christmas Eve with that reverent feeling in their hearts and the knowledge of what Christmas is really about!
