Matthew's class did a unit on NW Coastal Native Americans. They went on a field trip to a longhouse and the ancestors of the natives told stories and danced for the kids. After they got back they were given an assignment to make their own longhouse.

During this unit they also made a headdress and robe. It was a fun way for Matthew to learn about the natives from our area!
